MARIY ROSEN was born in 1977. In 2000, He graduated theatre directing at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria, in the master class of Stojan Kambarev and Julia Ognyanova. He authored and directed Moon Angels in 199 Theatre, Giraffe, White Nights after Dostoyevsky, Cecile by Jean Anouilh, O2 by Carl Djerassi, Plasticine by Vassily Sigarev, Test by Elin Rahnev - all of which on the stage of the Aleko Konstantinov State satirical theatre; The Venom of the Theatre by Rudolf Sirera, I am an emotional Creature by Eve Ensler, The Eyes of Others by Ivan Dimitrov - on the stage of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. He staged The effect of gamma rays on man-in-the-moon marigolds by Paul Zindel in different abandoned shops and received for this show the national theatre award Ikar for best director 2015.

In collaboration with the director Valeria Valcheva, he staged the independent performances of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet after Shakespeare, 200 000 Years after Chekhov, as well as the authored play Deep High.

He performed in Long Day's Journey into Night (directed by Julia Ognyanova), January and Three Sisters (directed by Stoyan Kambarev), Pinocchio: No Children Allowed (directed by Vesselka Kuncheva), Radovan III (directed by Rangel Valchanov), The Taming of the Shrew (directed by Marius Kurkinsky), August in Oklahoma (directed by Yassen Payankov).
